WHO WE ARE
The Queen's Sports Industry Committee aims to promote careers within the sports industry to undergraduate students. Led by an incredibly passionate team, QSIC hosts a variety of events throughout the year to expose business students to all facets of an industry so fast-paced, complex, competitive, and highly rewarding.
Over the past ten years, there has been significant growth in the sports industry, with career opportunities more expansive than ever, and covering areas including Finance, Marketing, Management, eSports, and more. It is QSIC's purpose to provide the necessary resources and education required to show students firsthand what a career in sports might look like, and the very steps they can take to land their dream roles.
COMMITMENT TO EDII
QSIC is proud to continue the commitment to EDII and support athletics beyond the traditional four. At our events, we are committed to recruiting a highly diverse set of speakers and welcome diverse participants that share our passion for sports. Specifically, this year we plan to increase the diversity of our speakers as well as the sports represented across all events.
To cultivate an inclusive and thriving diverse environment across our events, it starts with our team. We have committed to providing a positive, inclusive and motivating environment for our team members to allow for the best success of the executive team and conference.
